Getting your congregation on board with the GospelShoe is easy! Everyone will want to be a part of something that shares the good news of Jesus Christ and meets a basic need in someone’s life at the same time.

We’ve provided all that you need to make it easy for you to get started!

  • First, look over some of the ideas we’ve provided for your church to begin a GospelShoe program, and think about what will work best in your congregation.
  • Next, register your church to become a GospelShoe member. By registering you will have access to free stuff to help promote your program including bulletin inserts, posters, Web site banner ads and order forms. (Registration is not required to purchase shoes)
  • Develop your church plan, and you are on your way!

Efforts

Use GospelShoe as a fundraising initiative for your church.

Idea: For an upcoming youth trip, ask your congregation to purchase GospelShoes to give away to people in need in your community. “Sell” them at a price that covers the shoes, plus an additional amount to go to your special fundraiser. Offer two pairs of GospelShoe flip flops for an even $10: $7 goes to Gospel Shoe and $3 goes to your church. It’s a worthwhile fundraiser that everyone - even the community surrounding your church - would gladly participate in because of its far-reaching benefits.

Idea: “Adopt” a local homeless shelter to receive the GospelShoes. Have your church members make donations to the church designated for GospelShoe, then place your order online through the Group Orders system.

Make GospelShoe a part of your church’s regular budget to missions by sending donations directly to GospelShoe.

Idea: Hold a special GospelShoe offering one or more times a year. Send the proceeds to GospelShoe for us to send shoes to have them shipped to your church to take out through your own international mission efforts.
